Welcome to Neil Vessey | Bowsers
We are an independent UK business specialising in the fabrication and installation of new, and the supply and refurbishment of used storage tanks.
Our Company was established in 1972, and from our three and a half acre storage and fabrication site near Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire, we currently supply new and used storage tanks, mobile bowsers / tanker trailers, and storage tank ancillary equipment to an extremely diverse client base throughout the UK and overseas.
We are able to supply tanks for almost any purpose, in all materials available. All new mild steel and stainless steel tanks are manufactured on site in our Fabrication Workshop to customer or standard specification.
We are able to supply both rectangular and cylindrical (horizontal and vertical) steel tanks with capacities ranging from 300 gallons (1,350 litres) to 22,000 gallons (100,000 litres). Cylindrical tanks are prepared and combined with a new rectangular open bund to meet environmental legislation. Rectangular tanks can also be converted into fully bunded vessels. Used cylindrical tanks can be adapted when required for underground use for some applications, eg dirty water, effluent, derv, gas, oil, etc.
Although mainly of mild steel construction, we also have a selection of stainless steel tanks, pressure vessels, rubber lined tanks, and GRP. These are subject to availability. Bunded/double skinned type tanks are also available.
With the recent environmental legislation regarding material storage in mind, we have now begun specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of fully and open bunded tanks. These double skinned vessels ensure that in the event of damage, the contents of the tanks are contained.
In addition to the design, manufacture, distribution and installation of storage tanks, we are also suppliers of a wide variety of ancillary equipment associated with Storage Tanks. Additional items such as support cradles, access ladders, platforms, pump security cabinets, etc are available to suit customers' individual requirements.
We supply various types of diesel/gas oil pumps for fuel installations and these can be equipped with fuel flow monitors/key systems. The key system provides an effective security device ensuring the pump becomes operational only on the insertion of an authorised key. The fuel flow monitor records the amount of fuel delivered as the transaction progresses, as well as offering many other functions.
Balmoral Storage Tanks are manufactured in heavy duty polyethylene and range in capacity from 1,250 to 10,000 litres. They are suitable for a diverse range of uses including oil, diesel, non-potable water, molasses, chemicals, and kerosene. Their rotationally moulded one-piece units make them particularly environmentally sensitive and cost effective for the agricultural, chemical, oil and gas industries, as well as the domestic market.
In addition to the standard Balmoral storage tank range, we are able to supply bunded plastic vessels. The unique 'tank within a tank' construction offers protection from leakage and overfilling, as well as preventing rainwater collection.
Plantcraft Limited, our sister company, is the leading storage tank hire specialist in the UK, providing a unique service to industry. They currently supply a wide range of storage tanks suitable for virtually any liquid, ranging in capacity from 500 gallons (2,500 litres) to 20,000 gallons (90,000 litres). All tanks are available on a long or short term hire basis and can be delivered to site at short notice.
Tanks suitable for oil products, effluent, water, liquid fertiliser, drinking water, etc are readily available for immediate delivery to your site. Cylindrical and rectangular tanks are available with capacities up to 20,000 gallons (90,000 litres). Our horizontal tanks can be bunded/double skinned if required. Generally the vessels supplied are of mild steel construction. However, stainless steel, plastic or epoxy lined tanks are available on request.
